We operate a 24 hour reception - If you require anything throughout your stay please contact our Reception Team by dialing '0' on the Phone in your room or come and see us at the desk.

Our Duty managers are available from 9.00am -9.00pm daily, should you feel your stay has not been satisfactory and you wish to talk to them please speak to Reception so they can arrange this.

GARDEN BACK GATE

To Find the Garden Back gate head toward the Bottom right hand corner of the garden - towards the flag pole. 

The code to come back in the gate is 142. This will stay the safe throughout your stay.

COVID-19 HOTEL PROCEDURE

We are currently taking every precaution to 

make sure that both our Guest and Staff are protected against COVID-19.

There are a number of ways we will ask you

to help us keep you safe.

We ask that if you develop any symptoms or are feeling unwell please remain in your room and alert the duty manager immediately by dialling '0' from the phone in your room.

We ask all guests who are not travelling together to keep a minimum of 2 Meters apart and Wash their Hands / use the hand sanitiser around the Hotel regularly. 

We understand that these new measures will take some getting used to, and ask that you are patient with our staff throughout these times - They are having to adapt the same as you are! 

As this policy is in everyone's best interest, If you refuse to adhere to the policy in place the Hotel reserves a right to ask you to leave.

Reception -

Upon Entry into Reception you will have seen we have 'Sneeze' guards in place to help keep our Receptionist safe - We ask that you do not touch or attempt to move these guards.

In order to cut down the risks of transmission we have currently made our welcome letter digital - You should have received this to your inbox  on the Morning of your arrival. If you have not received your Email welcome letter please phone your email address through to Reception who will be able to send you another copy.

Currently our Preferred method of payment is Card - Our PDQ machine is cleaned after each transaction and regularly throughout the day.

It is mandatory to wear a Face Covering in the Hotel's public areas.

This includes the Hotel Entrance, Reception, Lounges (unless seated) and Corridors. Please do not take it off until you have exited the hotel.

Housekeeping

In order to protect our Housekeeping team we ask that if you require your room serviced that you leave the room in order to allow our team to work safely. If you would rather not have your room serviced but would like your Tea, Coffee or Towels replenished please let our Housekeeping or Reception team know so they can leave the top ups outside your door. 

Restaurant

We have a number of measures in place to protect our Diners and Staff in the Restaurant.

The Restaurant team may ask to take your temperature before entering the Dining Room.

 

Our Tables have been spread across the Dining room and panoramic conservatory to ensure 2 Meter Social Distancing.

Following Government guidelines we have produced a Disposable Menu that will be recycled once it has been used.

 

All Staff we will wearing a Face Masks or Plastic Visors.

Plastic Screens will be placed around the Restaurant Till and on the Bar.

A one way system is operated for Diners using the restaurant, your Server will advise you of this once you have been seated.

The preferred Method of payment in the Restaurant and Bar is Card Payment.

Bar - Our Bar is open daily from 12 Noon to 10.00pm with last orders being 9.30pm. Following Government guidelines our Bar is table service only. 

Bar Closing Time may vary depending on business.

Breakfast - Breakfast is served daily in our Restaurant 7.30am - 10.00 am Weekdays (Excludes bank holidays) and 8.00am - 10.00am on Saturday and Sunday. It is essential to book your breakfast - please speak to the Reception team to reserve your table.

Car Parking - Car Parking Spaces are available to guests on a first come first serve basis. Unfortunately we are unable to reserve any spaces. We have 3 disabled parking spaces for Blue Badge Holders.

Check Out - On the day of departure we ask all Rooms/Apartments to be vacated by 10.30am. however hotel and leisure facilities are available all day after check out. (Due to the current circumstances our Leisure Facilities are currently closed.)

Cot Hire - We have travel cots available to hire for £3.00 per night, £15.00 for a week. If required please call Reception who can arrange one for you.

E

Emergency - If you have an inhouse emergency please contact reception as soon as possible. Either the Receptionist, Manager or Night Manager will do their best to assist you in resolving the issue.

To Contact the police, Fire or Ambulance service please dial '9' followed by '999' from your room telephone.

F

Fire & Evacuation instructions- as part of the hotels health and safety procedure fire alarms are tested every Monday morning at 11.00am, there is no need to evacuate.

 

Full evacuation details are displayed on the main door of every room / apartment.

If you discover a fire, operate the nearest fire alarm located in your area.

H

Hairdresser- We have a hairdressing salon onsite, please speak to reception for more information and pricing.

Housekeeping- If requested our Housekeeping team will come in daily to service your room. To Keep our staff safe we kindly ask that guests step out of the team come in to service their room. If you would rather not have your room serviced but require top ups of Tea & Coffee or fresh towels please let Reception know. - Please see the top of the Guest Directory for our Housekeeping Covid-19 procedure.

Laundry- We have a small self service launderette onsite.

Tokens are available to purchase from reception.

Lost Property - The Devoncourt cannot accept any responsibility for the loss of any personal belongings. Any item of lost property left in the rooms or public areas will be handed into Reception.

Porter - We will have a porter on duty between 9.00am - 9.00pm

Room Service- Room service is available while the restaurant is operating. To place an order please dial ' 512' from the phone in your room - At Busy periods room service may not be available. Please Note: Breakfast is not available for room service.

Restaurant - Our Onsite Restaurant Brasserie16 is available for Evening Meals Wednesday - Sunday. As our Restaurant is currently operating at a half capacity it is highly recommend that your book a table in advance to avoid disappointment. Following Government Guidelines Bar and Restaurant are Table Service only. It is mandatory to wear a mask when moving around the Restaurant.

Smoking/Vaping - The Devoncourt operates a Non Smoking policy in all interiors of the hotel. There are designed smoking zones at the front and back of the hotel.

Sunbed- Our upright sun shower is located down by the swimming pool with the rest of our Leisure Facilities. Please see reception to purchase tokens. £4.00 for 5 minutes £6.00 for 10 minutes. (Due to the current circumstances our Leisure Facilities are currently closed)

Tennis Court - Our tennis court is available to book in hour slots at reception from 9.00am until sundown.

Taxi - If you would like a Taxi please refer to the useful phone numbers at the top of the directory, or contact reception allowing for as much notice as possible, especially on weekends. Please note; it may not always be possible to find an available taxi service.

Tea & Coffee - Tea and Coffee Facilities are available in all rooms and apartments, if you require any extra Tea bags, Coffee, Sugar or Milk please contact Reception.

Towels - Towels can be taken from the room for use in the leisure facilities. Alternatively should you require additional towels they can be hired from reception for a £1.00 charge. (Due to the current circumstances our Leisure Facilities are currently closed)

W

Wifi - Complimentary Free wifi is available throughout the Hotel and public areas - Please see the top of the directory for the Login details.

Wake Up Call - We offer a wake up call service, please contact reception if this is required.

Z-

Z-Bed - A Z Bed is available to hie for a small charge of £3.00 per night of £15.00 per week. If you wish to hie a Z-Bed please contact the Reception team who can arrange this for you.
