-Orcombe Point & the Geoneedle – Gateway to the Jurassic Coast

Orcombe Point is the westernmost tip of the Jurassic Coast, a 95-mile expanse of coastline stretching from Exmouth in East Devon to Studland Bay in Dorset. Marking the spot is the striking Geoneedle, a tapered stone obelisk standing about 5 m tall, unveiled by Prince Charles (now King Charles III) in 2002. Designed by sculptor Michael Fairfax, the Geoneedle is more than just a landmark, it's a geological narrative in stone and features insets of 8 different rocks symbolising the major geological periods found along the Jurassic Coast.


-Walking and the Costal Path

There are many different walking routes in the local area. Walkers often enjoy the Coastal Path which includes Exmouth to Devon Cliffs, Exmouth to Budleigh Salterton, and Exmouth to Sidmouth.

-Exmouth Museum

Exmouth Museum is a small, volunteer-run local history museum housed in a beautiful 19th-century building, It features many displays and exhibits such as Historic domestic interiors, Local industries & transport: Railways, shipping, antique lace, brick-making, RNLI, Fishing heritage and War Time History.
